Massachusetts Marina

Marina (2009)

I absolutely love marinas. Especially New England Marinas.

Jamie sent me the inspiration for this one, and it's currently hung at Nick's in Baltimore Maryland. It's 36" x 24" acrylic on canvas.

Matadora

Jackson bought this blank deck for me to paint (43"x 9")...our new hobby of personalizing our skateboard quiver.  All said and done, I wanted something feminine but tough, something to be respected in our little gang of all boy skateboarders :)))  (w'd up Peggy Oki)

I didn't think it was worthy enough for preservation/display (despite the hi-gloss lacquer), so she's getting all new trucks, wheels and grip tape tomorrow. 

What makes this (a little) more badass is that after titling it "Matadora," I attempted to spell check the spanish to english and simply put she's a:  Murderess

The Premier Cru Society, Long Island NY - a friend from college commissioned me to illustrate a logo for his vineyard that was named after his sister. As far as I knew this place was sold shortly after, until my mom was in LI and saw this sign. (2004)

MEXICO

This is Baja Breeze (2008). After experiencing the zen of this amazing spot last year, I was moved to document its memories, smells, sounds, and light in the only manner I saw fit; a painting. I only post it here now because I'm headed back down on Thursday for a very special birthday.
